Quarter 4 group project

Asya Leavitt, Hour 2

     

     The last quarter project was the students collaborating to create a fictional product and then "shark tank" it off to the e9 class. The overall time was about 8 weeks. A really big challenge for my group was the commercial. We had so many good ideas and we couldn't figure out which one we wanted to do. Then when it came to actually videoing it we didn't have much time. So we learned that sometimes the easiest idea can be the best. When we showed off our website we were given some good and bad feedback, we were told that we presented very organized in the beginning but we needed some work on the end of our presentation. People said that our logos were looked very nice. So we decided we needed to practice our presentation more. i had a very good time doing this project and getting to know my group members. Our product was a language interpreter called Li. It was a set of an ear piece and glasses, the ear piece could verbally translate any language and the glasses would visually translate. Together they only costed $350.99, but bought separately the ear $186.99, glasses $172.99. 

 

     In class we did our logo designs and box animations first, then we went to our commercial, and last we did our website and coupon. If we had finished early in class we would talk to each other about what we needed to do next or if what we had done was good. We critiqued each other and helped improve our work. 

     My strengths after this year would have to be graphic design. To help me better myself at this i am going to take graphic design next year. I would say that  need to improve on time management and communicating with my team members. I would ask for help and my team members would always be on top of things. 

     I loved doing all of the different projects, it was so much fun. I would like to have done a little bit more design and had more time on our video. i learned that team work makes the dream work, and that working well with your team makes a big difference. I would set a goal for myself to be more productive and go over the top with my work instead of doing the bare minimum. I really lived this final project and i would definitely go back and do it all over a agin, maybe change a few tings along the way to.
